Finely chop the White Onion so it’s ready to sprinkle over the finished hot dogs.
Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the Hot Dog Sausage for about 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and heated through.
While the sausages cook, split and lightly toast the Hot Dog Bun on the grill or in the skillet cut-side down until golden and slightly crisp.
Spoon out the Sweet Pickle Relish into a small dish and have the Yellow Mustard and Ketchup within reach so assembly is quick.
Place a cooked sausage into each toasted bun, then add a zigzag of mustard and ketchup, a generous spoonful of relish, and a sprinkle of the chopped onion.
Serve immediately while hot. Optional: offer extra relish, onion, or condiments at the table so everyone can customize their own.
