Bring Water to a rolling boil.
Place one teaspoon (or one tea bag) of Earl Grey Tea per cup into a teapot or an infuser-lined mug.
Pour the boiling water over the tea so the leaves are fully submerged, then cover to keep the heat in.
Steep 3–5 minutes: about 3 minutes for a lighter cup, 4–5 minutes for a fuller flavor. Avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.
Remove the tea leaves or tea bag and give the cup a gentle stir.
If you prefer a sweeter tea, dissolve Sugar into the hot tea to taste.
Finish with a thin slice or a small squeeze of Lemon for a bright, citrus lift, or serve plain.
Serve immediately and enjoy while hot.
