Hot Sauce

Hot Sauce is a vinegar-based hot pepper condiment common in American and global kitchens (often called Louisiana- or Tabasco-style), used to add heat and tang to wings, soups, marinades and dressings. It is very low in energy and, despite being used in small amounts, contributes micronutrients from chili peppers — for example it provides about 25mg of vitamin C per 100g. As a condiment used sparingly, it brings flavor with minimal calories and also supplies carotenoids and vitamin A precursors from the peppers, making it a useful way to boost flavor and a bit of nutrition without adding much fat.
