Kataifi Pastry

Kataifi Pastry is a very thin layered pastry dough used across Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines for dishes like baklava, börek, kunafa and various savory pies and rolls. It is prized for its crisp, flaky texture when brushed with fat and baked or fried. In terms of nutrition, Kataifi Pastry is primarily a refined carbohydrate product and provides about 8g of protein per 100g, but relatively little fiber and no significant sources of healthy fats.
