Cheiro-Verde is a fresh herb mixture commonly known as cheiro-verde in Brazil, made from chopped parsley and scallions (green onions) and used as a finishing garnish or flavor base in many Latin American and Portuguese dishes. It adds a bright, oniony-herb note to soups, stews, salads and sauces.
