Shiro Powder

Shiro Powder is an Ethiopian powdered legume mix traditionally used to make a thick, spiced stew called shiro wot; it’s commonly made from ground chickpeas or broad beans and flavored with berbere and other aromatics. As an ingredient it’s a concentrated plant-protein source, providing about 22g of protein per 100g, and is also a good source of fiber and B vitamins such as folate.
