Yuzu Zest

Yuzu Zest is the outer colored skin of citrus fruits used for zesting and flavoring in many cuisines — common with lemons and yuzu — prized for its bright, aromatic oils that lift both sweet and savory dishes. It adds intense citrus aroma without bulk, so it’s typically used in small amounts. Nutritionally, the peel is notable for its micronutrient density and antioxidants: it provides about 129mg of vitamin C per 100g and is also a good source of fiber and minerals compared with the fruit juice.
