Almond Oil

Almond Oil is a pressed vegetable oil made from almonds, commonly used in dressings, for light sautéing and in cosmetics for its mild, nutty flavor. It is almost entirely fat and is prized for its high levels of monounsaturated fatty acids and for being a good source of vitamin E (39.2mg of vitamin E). Because it contains virtually no protein or fiber, it won’t add much satiety, but it provides antioxidant vitamin E and a heart-friendly unsaturated fat profile when used in place of saturated fats.
